After stripping the form, the blocks arrived. We set to work with a rented mixer building up our biceps throwing around the 40 pound blocks. The last of the 15 rows is up and we are ready to form the tie beam and roof deck.
Sheets of plywood and lengths of 2x4 are turned into forms for pouring the bunker slab and the satellite dish pads. After partially passing inspection we poured the first slab. The concrete was a little stiff but we managed the final finish.
When we arrived, we checked into a posh rental home then headed for work. The site had been excavated but unfortunately 5 feet off of the new site plan. This was discovered after two days of layout and forming work. All the holes were filled back in and re-excavated.
