Sheets of plywood and lengths of 2x4 are turned into forms for pouring the bunker slab and the satellite dish pads.After partially passing inspection we poured the first slab. The concrete was a little stiff but we managed the final finish.

That is so fun that you are actually doing a lot of the work.
What do you mean partially passed? Why would you pour without approval?
Also, are those little islands how you get out to the middle to trowel it? I thought you'd have a large handle or something to reach. So do the islands serve as stepping stones back to the side, smoothing as you go?
